The Champblanc Gardens project is a special and innovative project. Its particularity lies in the fact that it is a group of inhabitants constituted as an association. Developed in a collaborative manner, the project aims to provide a common living space for 18 families of volunteer firemen from a neighbouring town. The firemen of Décines, future inhabitants of the place, have invested themselves in order to succeed in their conception of living together. Places for sharing and conviviality have been set up; a reception centre, guest rooms, large self-managed common spaces... A group of 12 collective dwellings and 6 individual houses anchored in the greenery encourage proximity with nature.

The support of the Décines firefighters' association requires the taking into account of consultation phases, and offers its volunteers a large economic and ecological margin as well as a genuine social harmony.

The involvement of the future co-owners, combined with a "castorisation" of the work in the finishing phase, generates an expected 20% reduction in costs.
