The Gère valley is a district of the city of Vienne with a rich landscape and heritage. This former industrial site developed the textile and foundry industries as well as hydraulic installations using the power of the river Gère.

The project is a bet on the future, a proposal for the transformation of a currently disadvantaged district by turning towards the creative industry and the setting up of a project house (reception, exhibitions, administration) but also housing and by reactivating an old brewery present on the site.

The revitalisation of the site involves the transformation of the quality industrial buildings and a landscape requalification of the banks of the river. The industrial identity is thus preserved and the architecture serves as a visual landmark and collective memory: chimneys and industrial façades in brick and remarkable ironwork.
